Want to learn how to skipper a sailing vessel and earn college credit at the same time?

From August 3 -7, Florida Southern College is offering an exciting opportunity for you to become a certified skipper and earn two credit hours this summer. All current Florida Southern students as well as entering first-year students are eligible to participate in this amazing program. No prior experience is necessary!

Pack your bag and head for the South Seas Island Resort in Captiva, Florida, home to America’s #1 school of sailing—Offshore Sailing School. At this premier destination, you will learn to maneuver the turquoise-blue waters using the wind as your guide.

You will depart from Florida Southern early August 3 for your sailing adventure.

Arrival at Florida Southern:    

August 2 or early August 3

Arrival on Captiva Island:    

August 3

Return from Captiva Island to Florida Southern:

August 7
