Early MAcc

 

Get a head start!

Florida Southern College students who are currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Accounting may begin their MAcc program in the fall of their senior year.

Requirements for Early Admission

  1. General requirements for admission into the program have been met (See the catalog on General Admission Requirements)
  2. GPA of 3.0 overall (cumulative) at FSC
  3. GPA of 3.0 in accounting (ACC) courses
  4. Application deadline for early admission is February 1 of the junior year, and admission is contingent upon the GPA on June 1 of that year.
*Please note, if you are an Early MAcc student you will still file the FAFSA as an undergraduate student.

CPA Licensure

Completion of the Bachelor of Science in Accounting and the MAcc (Master of Accountancy degree) will prepare the student for CPA licensure, including 150 hours of academic credit.*

* Please note: A student who desires to be licensed as a CPA in the State of Florida will also need to pass the CPA Exam and to complete one year of supervised experience.
