FSC Horticulture major receives
AGR Achievement Award

LAKELAND, Fla. (Dec. 7, 2004) - Florida Southern College senior James Michael (Mike) Knighten received the Alpha Gamma Rho Undergraduate Achievement Award, the highest award given by the national agricultural fraternity to an AGR undergraduate. Knighten, an environmental horticulture major, accepted the award and a $1,000 scholarship during the AGR national convention held in Columbus, Ohio.

The award is presented to an individual who excels in leadership, community and fraternity involvement, and scholastic achievement. Knighten, of Highland City, Fla., was chosen from over 60 AGR chapters nationwide.
