Whos Who Among Students in
American Universities and Colleges
LAKELAND, Fla. (Nov. 24, 2003)
The 2004 edition of Whos Who Among Students in American
Universities and Colleges will include the names of 41 students
from Florida Southern College who have been selected as national
outstanding campus leaders.
Campus nominating committees and editors
of the annual directory have selected these students based on their
academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular
activities, and potential for continued success.
Whos Who Among Students
in American Universities and Colleges rewards and recognizes
individual academic excellence on a national level. Once selected,
a student is a lifetime member. Outstanding students have been honored
in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.
Students named this year from Florida
Southern College are as follows:
Rachel Ann Amestoy is a senior majoring in elementary education.
She is the daughter of Janet Mlenar of Venice, Fla.
Joy Michelle Beurrier is a senior English major and daughter of
Jim and Paulette Beurrier of Stuart, Fla.
Mary Catherine Caroniti is a senior majoring in biology. She is
the daughter of Jim Caroniti of Bradenton, Fla., and Shannon Motiwalla
of Lawrenceville, Fla.
Erin Nicole Champlain is a senior graphic design major. She is the
daughter of David Champlain of Cape Coral, Fla., and Coleen Coleman
of Seffnerral, Fla.
Brian Jay Curry is a senior majoring in business administration.
He is the son of Jay and Diane Curry of Lakeland, Fla.
Houda A. Darwiche is a senior chemistry major. She is the daughter
of Abdul and Hind Darwiche of Winter Haven, Fla.
Adele Marguerite Douglin is a mathematics major. She is the daughter
of ONeal and Patricia Douglin of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
Kathleen Donna Dubois is an elementary education major. She is the
daughter of Steven and Marielouise DuBois of Nashua, N.H.
Paloma Lima Ferreira, a Spanish major, is the daughter of Ernani
and Katia Ferreira of Clermont, Fla.
Laura Nicole Hardy is a senior majoring in business administration.
She is the daughter of Stephen Hardy of Valrico, Fla., and Linda
McCormick of Lakeland, Fla.
Kristina Langford Haselier, a philosophy major, is the daughter
of Robert Haselier and Mary Haselier of Lakeland, Fla.
Abby Jan Johannes, a senior majoring in criminology, is the daughter
of Kenlon and Jennifer Johannes of Lakeland, Fla.
Abigail Lee Johnston is an elementary education major. She is the
daughter of Ramon and Brende Johnston of Marathon, Fla.
Ellen Elizabeth Key, a business administration major, is the daughter
of Peter Key and Yvonne Knowles of Nassau, Bahamas.
Lauren Michelle Kilbourn is majoring in Christian education. She
is the daughter of Diedre Kilbourn of Tallahassee, Fla.
Kimberly Martha Kinnecom is a senior majoring in Spanish. She is
the daughter of Andrew and Martha Kinnecom of Englewood, Fla.
Stephen Francis Kissinger, Jr. is a senior majoring in religion.

Carole Faith McKenzie is a senior public relations major residing

Jaime Lynn Mills, a senior sociology major, is the daughter of George
