FSC students present at
Sigma Tau Delta conference
LAKELAND, Fla. (March 9, 2004) - FSC students April Avery, Melissa Wagner and Michelle Mann will be presenting papers at the annual conference of Sigma Tau Delta, the international English honor society, March 24-28. The event is being held in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Avery and Wagner will present papers as part of a panel entitled "Conversing with the Past: Literatures of Tolkien"; Mann will present "The Stifled Conversations and the Usurpation of the Female in Three Myths."
Avery, a junior, is majoring in sociology with a minor in English. She is the daughter of Lester and Mary Avery of Fort Myers, Fla.
Wagner is a senior English major. She is the daughter of Gary and Linda Wagner of Orlando, Fla.
Mann is a senior English major residing in Lakeland, Fla.
