Pianist John O'Conor
performs
at Festival of Fine Arts
LAKELAND, Fla. (Jan. 13, 2004) - Florida
Southern College and the Festival of Fine Arts welcome John O'Conor,
pianist, to Branscomb Auditorium Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m.
The world-acclaimed pianist returns to FSC after a solo appearance
last year with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland. He tours
around the world, appearing with leading orchestras throughout Europe,
Japan, and North America. He received two First Prize awards in
the same year, one at the International Beethoven Competition in
Vienna and another at the Bosendorfer Piano Competition.
Tickets are $20. FSC students are admitted free of charge; non-FSC
