Terry Myers Orchestra salutes 
Benny Goodman at Festival of Fine Arts

LAKELAND, Fla. (Oct. 14, 2003) - Florida Southern College and the Festival of Fine Arts welcome the Terry Myers Orchestra in "A Tribute to Benny Goodman," celebrating the legendary bandleader with an all-star orchestra led by conductor and saxophonist Terry Myers. The program takes place in Branscomb Auditorium Oct. 27 at 7:30 p.m.

The orchestra, the only group authorized to reproduce Goodman's charts, debuted on Oct. 1, 1992 at Busch Gardens in Tampa. Orchestra selections include "Stompin' At The Savoy," "Fascinatin' Rhythm," and "Sing, Sing, Sing," with vocals performed by Connie Brink. 

Tickets are $20. FSC students are admitted free of charge; non-FSC students pay half price. For ticket information, please contact the Branscomb Auditorium box office at (863) 680-4296.
