The Mozart Puppets
from Austria perform
in Festival II Program
LAKELAND, Fla. (Nov. 3, 2003) - Florida
Southern's Festival of Fine Arts presents The Mozart Puppets from
Austria with Norman Shetler performing in Festival II, a program
of occasional chamber concerts. The performance takes place Nov.
17 at 7:30 p.m. in the Anne MacGregor Jenkins Recital Hall on campus.
Viennese-American pianist Shetler is well known for his expert pianism
and the humor of his musical puppet shows. He studied in Kansas
City and New York and now lives in Vienna where he completed his
musical education. He has performed in music centers and festivals
around the world and has made more than 70 recordings.
Tickets are $12 at the door and $6 for non-FSC students. FSC students
