Moscow City Ballet
performs
at Festival of Fine Arts
LAKELAND, Fla. (March
24, 2004) - Florida Southern College and the Festival of Fine Arts
welcome the Moscow City Ballet performing in Sergei Prokofieff's
"Romeo and Juliet" in Branscomb Auditorium April 6 at 7:30 p.m.
Shakespeare's legendary story of young lovers trapped by the conflicts
between their families comes dramatically to life when danced to
the musical setting by Prokofieff. The Moscow City Ballet was founded
in 1988 and has toured around the world. Its dancers are chosen
from graduates of the finest schools in Russia and the Ukraine.
Tickets are $20. FSC students are admitted free of charge; non-FSC
