Landscape artists
exhibit at Melvin Gallery
LAKELAND, Fla. (Jan. 26,
2004) - Florida Southern's Melvin Art Gallery presents "Twenty-Four
Seasons in a Day - Four Landscape Artists" beginning Feb. 6 and
running through March 1. Emerging artists Naomi Chung, Jolene Powell,
Marlene Rye, and Alexis Serio explore new directions in the traditional
area of landscape. Three artists will speak during the opening reception
taking place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 6.
The Melvin Gallery is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and
during intermissions of most FSC Festival of Fine Arts performances.
Admission is free.
