Florida Southern holds fireworks display

LAKELAND, Fla. (Sept. 26, 2003) - Florida Southern College will hold a fireworks display over Lake Hollingsworth Oct. 10 beginning at 8 p.m. as part of its Family Weekend. The event, held at Southern Landing (the "Sump"), is sponsored by the FSC Alumni Association and produced by the Grucci family. 

In preparation for and during the event, Johnson Avenue to McDonald Street and the lake portion of Lake Hollingsworth Drive from Mississippi Avenue to Ingraham Avenue will be closed to traffic. The display will last about 20 minutes.
