Festival of Fine
Arts holds 44th season opener
LAKELAND, Fla. (Sept. 22, 2003) - Florida
Southern College opens its 44th Festival of Fine Arts season Oct.
4 with "Milestones in Music II," a musical salute in honor of composers'
anniversaries. The opening performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in Branscomb
Auditorium on the college campus.
The ensembles and soloists of the music department will be commemorating
the birth and/or death anniversaries of famous composers, including
Arcangelo Corelli, Antonin Dvorak, Charles Ives, and Glenn Miller.
Tickets are $15. FSC students are admitted free of charge; non-FSC
students admitted at half price. For ticket information, please
