Florida Southern 
cheerleading roster announced

LAKELAND, Fla. (Sept. 29, 2003) - Florida Southern College announced its 2003-2004 cheerleading roster. Tryouts were held earlier this month. In addition to home games, the squad will travel to five away games in state and may accompany teams during regional play. 

The following students are members of the squad: 

Laura Hardy, captain, is a senior majoring in business finance and human relations management. She is the daughter of Steve Hardy of Valrico, Fla., and Linda McCormick of Lakeland, Fla. 

Rebecca Annon is a senior majoring in public relations/communication. She is the daughter of Frederick and Allison Annon of Ormond Beach, Fla. 

Kathryn Ciempa is a junior majoring in law. She is the daughter of John and Debra Ciempa of Hooksett, N.H. 

Melissa Cofta is a sophomore majoring in communication. She is the daughter of Gary Cofta of Winter Springs, Fla. and Gail Cofta of Newberry, Fla. 

Lauren Elmhorst is a freshman majoring in business administration: human resource management. She is the daughter of Frederick and Michelle Elmhorst of Lakeland, Fla. 

Karen Farrow is a freshman majoring in business administration: management. She is the daughter of Michael and Rosemary Farrow of Burlington, Mass. 

Ashley Fishburn is a junior majoring in political science. She is the daughter of Brian and Tawni Fishburn of Lakeland, Fla. 

Erin Fitzpatrick is a junior majoring in communication: public relations. She is the daughter of Patrick and Laura Fitzpatrick of Dunnellon, Fla. 

Rodobaldo "Roly" Gonzalez III, a junior majoring in communication: public relations, is the son of Rodobaldo Gonzalez and Sheila Gonzalez, of Buffalo, N.Y. 

Charles Hon, a sophomore, is majoring in criminology and sociology. He is the son of Dr. Charles and Corazon Hon of Wilton, Conn. 

Kristin Houk, a sophomore, is majoring in elementary education. She is the daughter of Kenneth and Patrice Houk of Lakeland, Fla.

Jennifer Masterson is a junior majoring in business management and marketing. She is the daughter of James and Barbara Masterson of Boca Raton, Fla. 

Leslie Rodda is a sophomore majoring in sociology. She is the daughter of John and Becky Rodda of Lakeland, Fla. 

Parris Simpson is a sophomore majoring in communication. She is the daughter of Charles and Vicki Simpson of Lakeland, Fla. 

Erin Lyn Smith, a junior biology major, is the daughter of Kenneth and Saralyn Smith of Lakeland, Fla.

Jessica Ward is a freshman majoring in religion: Christian education. She is the daughter of Wendy Foster of Valrico, Fla and Tyler Ward.
