Athletic training
faculty and students
attend student symposium in Atlanta
LAKELAND, Fla. (March
9, 2004) - FSC athletic training students accompanied Dr. James
"Mick" Lynch, athletic training professor; and Sue Stanley Green,
director of the athletic training program, to the Southeast Athletic
Trainers Student Symposium held Feb. 13-14 in Atlanta. This year's
conference focused on rehabilitation.
The students participated in Certification Exam preparation. Stanley-Green,
current member of the National Athletic Trainers Association board
of certification and a past member of its board of directors, moderated
the Student Leadership session.
Students attending the course included:
Edward Betzer, a junior and son of Edward and Patricia Betzer of
Mulberry, Fla.
Jessica Cole, a junior. She is the daughter of Ivan Cole of Chelsea,
Mich., and Jerri Cole of Grass Lake, Mich.
Erica Dhuy, a junior. She is the daughter of Eric Dhuy of Kenvil,
N.J., and MaryBeth Wenrich of Morris Plains, N.J.
Christine Schunke, a senior and daughter of Peter and MaryJane Schunke
of Orlando, Fla.
Corey Tremble, a junior. He is the son of Dudley and Annemarie Tremble
of Westwood, N.J.
