Florida Southern
Trustees Set Tuition for 2003-2004
LAKELAND, FL (Feb. 18,
2003) - Florida Southern College trustees approved a six percent
increase in tuition for returning students. An additional $500 will
be added to the increase for new students - freshmen and transfers.
This year's increase is less than last year's seven percent increase.
The total cost for a residential student (including tuition, room
and board) will increase 5 to 5 1/2 percent depending on the selected
meal and housing plan.
"Florida Southern continues to remain committed to providing a very
personalized education in a small college setting while improving
and expanding our academic programs and upgrading technology," said
FSC president Dr. Tom Reuschling. "We are sensitive to today's economic
situation."
