Stuttgart Chamber
Orchestra
performs at Florida Southern
LAKELAND, Fla. (March
7, 2003) - Florida Southern College hosts the Stuttgart Chamber
Orchestra, an ensemble of nineteen players conducted by Dennis Russell
Davies. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. March 22 in Branscomb
Auditorium.
The internationally celebrated orchestra, celebrating its 50th year,
will be returning for its 13th North American tour. The chamber
repertoire includes a new piano concerto by Phillip Glass, a modern
minimalist composer.
Tickets are $20. FSC students are admitted free of charge; non-FSC
