hosts international trade seminar
LAKELAND, Fla.
(Feb. 13, 2002) - Florida Southern College will sponsor an eight-week
international trade seminar in the Carlisle Rogers Business and
Economics Building on campus. The seminar takes place on Tuesdays
from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. beginning Feb. 26 through April 16.
The seminar's
topic, Building an Import/Export Business, focuses on licensing
and legal issues, governmental services available, financial arrangements,
and transportation of goods. Course leaders include Jack Marshall,
International Strategic Advisors, Orlando; Wayne Kline, Central
Florida Development Council, Bartow; Graham Martinez, U.S. Department
of Commerce, Clearwater; Fred Reilly, Andrew R. Reilly, P.A., Haines
City; Tom McKeeby, Kuehne & Nagel, Orlando; Donna Lovre, Chubb
Group of Insurance Companies, Tampa; Edie Bretz, Priority One Brokers,
Inc., Orlando; and Carlos Gonzalez, Enterprise Florida, Orlando.
Certificates
of completion will be awarded at the close of the seminar. Cost
