Southern College junior
awarded $3,000 scholarship
LAKELAND, Fla.
(Nov. 26, 2001) - Florida Southern College junior Nelson A. Schilling
received a $3,000 scholarship from TheInsuranceAdvisor.com Scholarship
Program. The program provides a $3,000 scholarship ($1,500 from
TheInsuranceAdvisor.com and $1,500 from the host institution) to
a junior or senior student who has an interest in a career in insurance
underwriting, financial planning, or life insurance.
Schilling, a
resident of Davenport, Fla., will graduate in the spring of 2003
with a degree in business administration.

Scholarship Program is administered by the Florida Independent College
Fund, a not-for-profit foundation for program and resources development
for the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida (ICUF).
Based at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Fla., ICUF is dedicated
to providing financial assistance to students attending Floridas
independent colleges and universities. Funds are granted by corporate
partners who are equally committed to providing the best educational
alternatives for todays college students.
