Southern holds fireworks display
The annual event celebrates homecoming/alumni weekend
LAKELAND, Fla.
(March 1, 2002) - Florida Southern College welcomes back its alumni
on March 15 with a fireworks display over Lake Hollingsworth beginning
at 8 p.m. Produced by the Grucci family, the display is part of
the annual celebration of homecoming/alumni weekend, March 15-17.
Traditionally, this event also celebrates the college's association
with the Lakeland community.
In preparation
for and during the event, traffic along Lake Hollingsworth Road
in front of the college will be diverted. The display will last
about 20 minutes.
