LAKELAND, Fla.
(Feb. 8, 2002) - Grammy-nominated vocal stylist Michael Feinstein
sings the music of Ira Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Cole Porter and others
at Florida Southern College in Branscomb Auditorium Feb. 22 at 7:30
p.m.
Feinstein has
performed on Broadway, played for England's Queen Mother, entertained
three presidents in the White House, and sold out his concert debut
at Carnegie Hall. He began his career as Ira Gershwin's assistant
for six years. In 1986, Liza Minelli launched him into the spotlight
at New York's Algonquin Hotel. Since then, he has released 17 albums
and performed around the world to sold-out audiences.
Tickets are
$25. FSC students are admitted free of charge; non-FSC students
