student recognized with Reuter Scholarship at Florida Southern College
Honors Convocation
LAKELAND, Fla.
(April 18, 2002) - Adele Douglin, a junior mathematics major, was
awarded the Reuter Scholarship at the annual Honors Convocation
at Florida Southern College. The event, held on April 10, brought
recognition to numerous students in a variety of categories. Douglin
resides in Lakeland. She is the daughter of O'Neal and Patricia
Douglin of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
The Reuter Scholarship
Fund was established in honor of John R. Reuter by his parents,
Paul B. and E. Louise Reuter. The fund is awarded solely on the
basis of academic achievement. Eligible students must be of ability
and good character, board at the college, and maintain a 3.5 grade
point average. Reuter award checks are given directly to the students
to be used as they desire.
