Kathy Fezzie, ED.D

Literacy Coordinator

Assistant Professor of Education

Fezzie

Reading is a powerful and inclusive human endeavor that provides experiences that cultivate empathy, resilience, and a deeper understanding of ourselves and others. Reading opens a window into diverse cultures and perspectives, helping us appreciate the richness of the human experience. It connects us across time, place, and circumstance, affirming our shared humanity. My goal is to equip future teachers with the knowledge and skills to foster a love of reading in all students and to use literature as a tool for connection, reflection, and growth.
