LAKELAND, Fla. (Feb. 25, 2011) -- Omicron Delta Kappa presents its second part of the Last Lecture series this week. Featured will be Associate Professor of Communication Dr. Vicki Wuertz, who retires from FSC this academic year. A campus favorite, Dr. Wuertz, is also a Florida Southern graduate. Students can hear her presentation this Wednesday, April 6, at 7 p.m. in the McKay Archives Center Reading Room. The purpose of the "Last Lecture," presented by the FSC Omicron Delta Kappa honor society, is to give one faculty member -- one chosen by ODK -- an opportunity to speak as though it's their final chance to impart words of wisdom.
