LAKELAND, Fla. (Sept. 29, 2010) -- Florida Southern College ushers in the 2010-11 Festival of Fine Arts season with an exciting Opening Gala on Thursday, Oct. 7. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in Branscomb Memorial Auditorium on the FSC campus.

Ensembles and soloists from the College's outstanding Department of Music will perform a program that features several works by Ralph Vaughan Williams, including "Flourish for Wind Band" and "Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis." In addition, the chorales will perform favorites such as "Be Thou My Vision" and "Hello Girls."
