LAKELAND, Fla. (March 11, 2010) -- Beginning March 26, Florida Southern College's Melvin Gallery will exhibit the best works by senior FSC art students during the annual Senior Studio Show. The John R. Reuter award for the outstanding studio artist will be announced at the opening reception, which begins at 7 p.m. March 26 in the gallery. The public is invited.

Each year, several FSC seniors go on to top graduate programs. The work in the annual Senior Studio Show exhibits both creative freshness and remarkable polish.

The exhibition runs through April 9. The Melvin Gallery is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday when the College is in session, as well as during selected events of the Festival of Fine Arts series.
