LAKELAND, Fla. (March 5, 2010) -- Florida Southern College presents the Opera Theatre presentation of "La Vida Breve," featuring student and faculty soloists and accompanied by the FSC Symphony Orchestra, on March 19. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in Branscomb Memorial Auditorium.

Manuel De Falla's "La Vida Breve" ("Life is Short,") is considered one of the great masterpieces of Spanish language operas. The opera, which will be performed in Spanish, features Flamenco and other famous Spanish dances.
