LAKELAND, Fla. (Oct. 23, 2009) — Florida Southern College and the Festival of Fine Arts welcome distinguished pianist Teresa Walters on Nov. 6, performing at 7:30 p.m. in Branscomb Auditorium on the Florida Southern campus.

Known as "The International First Lady of Piano," Walters is considered one of the worlds most significant pianists. She has performed as a recitalist and orchestral soloist on six continents and in most of the 50 states. With a vast repertoire, she has appeared at Viennas Beethoven Festival and is the first American pianist invited to perform at Hungarys Anniversary Concert in honor of Franz Liszts birthday.
