LAKELAND, Fla. (Feb. 24, 2010) -- Florida Southern College and the Festival of Fine Arts welcome pianist Andre Watts on March 11. The performance takes place at 7:30 p.m. in Branscomb Memorial Auditorium on the Florida Southern campus.

Leonard Bernstein invited Watts to make his debut with the New York Philharmonic at age 16, and more than 45 years later, he remains one of the world's most admired and popular classical pianists. He is a perennial favorite with the worlds great orchestras, a regular guest at the major summer music festivals, and a television favorite with numerous appearances on PBS, the BBC, and the Arts & Entertainment Network.
