LAKELAND (Jan. 14, 2009) -- Florida Southern College today launches FSCMocs.com, a new Web site devoted to Moccasin Athletics. More than just a sleek new look, the site, designed in collaboration with Athleticsite.com, a division of Major Program, a Web site design/hosting firm, will enable staffers to provide fans with up-to-the-minute coverage of FSC’s 18 NCAA Division II teams.

“The new site provides our staff with a user-friendly system that will help us to make updates even faster and with more efficiency,” says Bill Turnage, FSC’s Sports Information Director.

FSCMocs.com will make it easier for families, friends, and fans to follow the Moccasin’s by making information on all teams and players easier to navigate and find.

“We couldn’t be more pleased with the results,” says Pete Meyer, FSC’s Dean of Wellness.

“Much of the credit for the success of the site belongs to Wayne Koehler, our assistant webmaster, and Tim Carpenter, our assistant sports information director,” Meyer added.  “Without their efforts in transferring all of the pages from the previous Web site to the new one, the project could not have been completed.”

Not only will fans have access to all of the features they previously enjoyed -- such as news, photos, schedules, rosters, and statistics – they also will be able to enjoy multimedia coverage of FSC teams, including audio broadcasts, interactive polls, text messaging of game results, and much, much more.
