GEICO Donates $25,000 to Career Center

LAKELAND, Fla. (Dec. 2, 2008) -- GEICO’s famous green spokesman was on the Florida Southern campus today to award a $25,000 gift to the College’s Career Center. The GEICO Gecko and George Rogers, regional vice president of GEICO and a member of the FSC Board of Trustees, were on hand to present the check to College president Dr. Anne B. Kerr. The Career Center lobby will be renamed the GEICO Career Center Resource Library.
