Florida Southern's Talented Musicians Kick Off Holiday Season with Gala Performance

LAKELAND, Fla. (Nov. 23, 2009) — Florida Southern College and the Festival of Fine Arts welcome the holiday season in style with the traditional Christmas Gala. The performance takes place at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 in Branscomb Auditorium on the college campus.

The College's talented student ensembles and faculty directors perform the best of the season's sacred and secular music at the Gala, a perennial favorite of Festival of Fine Arts patrons. The concert includes selections from Handel's "Messiah" as well as ancient and contemporary holiday songs.

Tickets are $15. FSC students are admitted free of charge; non-FSC students are admitted at half-price. For ticket information, please contact the Branscomb Auditorium box office at 863.680.4296.
