FSC Library Director To Serve On Tampa Bay Library Consortium Board

LAKELAND, Fla. (Nov. 17, 2008) — Randall M. MacDonald, director of the Roux Library at Florida Southern College, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Tampa Bay Library Consortium for the 2009-2011 term.

The Consortium is a nonprofit multi-type library cooperative that encourages collaboration, resource sharing, staff development, and other innovations to ensure that the people of West Central Florida receive excellent, up-to-date library services and have access to the world of information.

FSC was a charter member of TBLC in 1979 and has participated in many TBLC initiatives. Mr. MacDonald has served at Florida Southern College since 1986.
