LAKELAND, Fla. (Oct. 16, 2008) — Florida Southern College and the Festival of Fine Arts present “Music Under the Stars” featuring the FSC Symphony Band, Jazz Ensemble and Wind Ensemble. The performance takes place Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Pipkin Bandshell on Ingraham Avenue on the FSC campus.

The musical groups stage the fortieth anniversary edition of their “concert in the park.” Conductor Jo Jossim celebrates her tenth year “under the stars” as the college welcomes Paul Butcher directing the Jazz Ensemble

Admission is free with open seating. In the event of rain, the performance will be held in Branscomb Auditorium. Parking is available in the McDonald Street parking lot.
