The Russian National Ballet
LAKELAND, Fla. (March 18, 2005) - Florida Southern College and the Festival of Fine Arts welcome The Russian National Ballet performing "Swan Lake." The performance takes place April 9 at 7:30 p.m. in Branscomb Auditorium on the Florida Southern campus.
The Russian National Ballet Theatre performs Tchaikovsky's epic legend of doomed platonic love, complete with full sets and orchestra. Founded by general director Vladimir Moiseev and artistic director Evgeny Amosov, the company performs not only classical ballets, but also modern ballets to the music of Mozart, Bach, Ravel and others.
