Florida Southern head athletic trainer to receive SEATA Award of Merit

LAKELAND, Fla. (Feb. 12, 2008) — Al Green, head athletic trainer and assistant athletic director of Florida Southern College was selected to receive the Southeast Athletic Trainers Association’s (SEATA) Award of Merit. Green will receive the award on March 1 at the association’s annual meeting in Nashville, Tenn.

The Award of Merit is the highest award given to a member of SEATA. The award recognizes an individual who has brought national honor and recognition to the association. It is a distinction reserved for the most able of professionals in the field of athletic training.

"It is an honor to receive an award that is voted on by your peers," said Green. “I am grateful for the support of the staff and students here at FSC.”
