Melvin Gallery exhibits student art from School of Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

LAKELAND, Fla. (Feb. 8, 2008) — Florida Southern College will exhibit the works of artists from the graduate and undergraduate programs at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in the Melvin Art Gallery. The exhibit begins Feb. 22 and runs through March 24.

The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston ranks as one of the top art schools in the country. Florida Southern alumna Nicole Kita, now a master of fine arts candidate of the Museum School’s program, co-curates this exhibition of her peers to bring innovative work from top young artists.

The Melvin Art Gallery is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and during intermissions of many performances of the FSC Fine Arts Series. For more information, please contact the gallery at (863) 680-4743.
