The Acting Company performs "The Two Gentlemen of Verona" at Florida Southern College

LAKELAND, Fla. (Mar. 1, 2005) - Florida Southern College and the Festival of Fine Arts welcome The Acting Company performing Shakespeare's comedy "The Two Gentlemen of Verona." The performance takes place March 15 at 7:30 p.m. in Branscomb Auditorium on the Florida Southern College campus.

The prestigious New York company, founded in 1972 by the legendary actor/director John Houseman, performs each year in over 50 cities, reaching more than 25,000 students with its arts education programs. The company has received the Obie Award, the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award, Citibank's Excellence in Education Award, and two Tony Award nominations.
