Melvin Art Gallery exhibits photographs from Polk Museum of Art

LAKELAND, Fla. (Oct. 13, 2006) — Florida Southern College will exhibit over 40 photographs from the distinguished permanent collection of Lakeland’s Polk Museum of Art in the Melvin Art Gallery. Works include photography by leading masters from the United States and abroad. The exhibit runs Nov. 3 through Nov. 27. An opening reception takes place Nov. 3 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The Melvin Art Gallery is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and during intermissions of many performances of the FSC Fine Arts Series.  For more information, please contact the gallery at (863) 680-4743.
