I Musici di Roma performs at Florida Southern College

LAKELAND, Fla. (Sept. 26, 2006) — Florida Southern College and the Festival of Fine Arts welcome the I Musici di Roma Italian chamber orchestra. The performance takes place Oct. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in Branscomb Auditorium on the Florida Southern campus.

Returning to the Festival from Italy to present another exciting evening for strings, this internationally renowned chamber orchestra is widely considered the world’s foremost in its field. One critic writes, “Their treatment of the classics makes the oldest music seem completely new.”
