Festival of Fine Arts holds 47th season opener

LAKELAND, Fla. (Sept. 12, 2006) — Florida Southern College opens its 47th  Festival of Fine Arts season Oct. 3 with “Music for an Autumn Evening.” The opening performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in Branscomb Auditorium on the college campus. 

The youngest of the music department’s traditions, this fall gala has quickly become a much favored season opener. The college’s talented soloists and ensembles start the season off with a program that encompasses some of the world’s greatest vocal and instrumental compositions.

Tickets are $20. FSC students are admitted free of charge; non-FSC students admitted at half price. For ticket information, please contact the Branscomb Auditorium box office at (863) 680-4296.
