Festival II welcomes guitarist Ana Vidovic

LAKELAND, Fla. (Jan. 13, 2005) -Florida Southern's Festival II welcomes Ana Vidovic, internationally renowned classical guitarist and Peabody graduate, for her Florida debut. The performance takes place Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the Anne MacGregor Jenkins Recital Hall in the Robert A. Davis Performing Arts Center on the Florida Southern campus. 

Vidovic has won many prizes and international competitions around the world, including first prizes in the Albert Augustine International Competition in Bath, England, the Fernando Sor competition in Rome, and the Francisco Tarrega competition in Benicasim, Spain. Her international performances have taken her to London, Paris, Vienna, Salzburg, Rome, Budapest, Warsaw, Tel Aviv, Oslo, Copenhagen, Toronto, Baltimore, San Francisco, Houston, Dallas, and St. Louis.
