LAKELAND (April 23) -- Steve Forbes, chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media, will provide the commencement address at Florida Southern College’s 2012 Commencement Ceremony on April 28. During the ceremony, Forbes will be awarded the honorary degree of doctor of humane letters in recognition of his many accomplishments in business and government.

“We are delighted that Mr. Forbes has accepted our invitation to speak at this year’s commencement ceremony,” said Florida Southern President Dr. Anne B. Kerr. “His accomplishments and experiences will give our graduates a practical perspective as they embark on the next phase of their lives.”
