Access to the Oxford English Dictionary is limited to FSC faculty, staff and students. Users will be prompted for their FSC Portal login prior to utilizing the resource when off-campus.

Description:

The Oxford English Dictionary is the most comprehensive dictionary of the English language in existence. The last physically printed edition spans 20 volumes. Updated quarterly, the online edition provides access to highly descriptive word entries, including cross-referencing and word etymology.

User Restrictions:

The Roux Library provides access to electronic databases for academic use at Florida Southern College. These resources are governed by United States Copyright Law and subscription licensing agreements. Users are prohibited from distributing database content. Excessive downloading or printing could jeopardize database use by the entire Florida Southern College community. Individual resources may have additional limitations.
