The library and archives meeting rooms may be booked for college-related meetings and events. Click the links below to determine availability, then call the library at 863.680.4164 or the archives at 863.680.4994 to schedule a room. Meetings scheduled by the office of Academic Affairs as well as library instruction sessions are given priority in scheduling the spaces.

The person requesting a meeting space must make arrangements for additional chairs and tables (contact Facilities Maintenance at x4192), and may be required to submit a written event planning document to the Department of Campus Safety and Security (DCSS, x4305). Requests for digital presentation equipment must be made to a library or archives representative when the room is booked.

Third Floor Conference Room

McKay Archives Center
Food and drink are not permitted in the McKay Archives Center. For events that require food and drink, please contact Guest Services at x4617. They cater events in the R. Ira Barnett Plaza between Roux Library and the McKay Archives Center, and will be pleased to provide an event quote.

First Floor: Thrift Classroom
Capacity: 20-26. The room is equipped with rolling chairs and tables suitable for two persons. A digital projector is scheduled for installation by mid-November, 2009. Meetings after 5:00pm require using bathrooms in Roux Library.

Second Floor: Lockmiller Reading Room
Capacity: 6-10. Has a door for partial privacy. No equipment, but a digital projector is available. Warm in the early morning.

Second Floor: Main Reading Room
Capacity: 25-27. Two rectangular tables, three round tables. Additional tables and chairs can be added, but the person requesting the space is responsible for making those arrangements (see above). A digital projector and screen are available.
