The Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise at Florida Southern College invites applications for a full-time, tenure track, faculty member to teach economics, starting fall 2014. The specific need is for knowledge and experience in the following: Macroeconomics Principles, Economic Theory (Micro and Macro) and International Trade and Finance.  Knowledge and experience in any of the following areas would also be welcome: Monetary Economics, Labor Economics, Data Analysis, Environmental Economics, Health Care Economics, Industrial Organization and Public Economics.  The normal teaching load is three (3) four-hour courses per semester.

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will possess a PhD and will be "academically qualified" consistent with AACSB criteria. Teaching excellence, engaged learning, interdisciplinary cooperation and an applied orientation are highly valued and expected of all Florida Southern College faculty members.  The successful candidate will work collegially with faculty members representing the newly established Center for Free Enterprise.
