Florida Southern participates in all of the major federal aid programs based upon financial need. The application process is simple! Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by April 1 and you will be applying for:

Federal Pell Grant
In 2010-2011 the federal government awarded up to $5,550 to undergraduate, degree-seeking students who had not already obtained a bachelor's degree.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
Awarding up to $400, FSEOG is granted to undergraduate, degree-seeking students with exceptional financial need.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available at high schools, local colleges, or the Florida Southern College Financial Aid Office.  Please submit the FAFSA after your IRS tax forms are completed at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
