Holly Tompson, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor of Business

I love the subjects I teach and want my students to be as excited as I am about the material we discuss in class. Creating an environment where students are active participants in the learning process is, therefore, one of my main goals. One of my greatest hopes as a teacher is to instill a love of learning in my students and to give them the tools to pursue their interests beyond any given course.”

Dr. Holly Tompson began teaching at Florida Southern College in the fall of 2011. Prior to that, she worked as a Senior Research Analyst for the Institute for Corporate Productivity. Holly has taught at the University of Tampa, Saint Leo University, the University of Central Arkansas and the University of Waikato in Hamilton, New Zealand, where she lived with her family for four years.
