Eridan Thompson
Access Services Librarian

"As a librarian and a language teacher, it is my responsibility to facilitate the learning process by making resources available and providing an inviting atmosphere. The dynamics of a classroom setting will be more engaging when students are exposed to various learning strategies."

Eridan Thompson was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She received her M.A. in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida in 2001, and a second Master's degree in Applied LInguistics and ESOL also from the University of South Florida. She has worked as the Access Services Librarian at the Roux LIbrary since 1998. She is in charge of the Circulation & Reserves Department.
