How do I register for classes?
There are three ways you can register.

When can I sign up?
You may register up to the day before a course begins or as space allows.

Can I register late for a class?
You may register up to the day before a course begins or as space allows.

What is the discount for enrolling in more than one course during the semester?
The multiple course discounts have been discontinued for the Spring 2011 term.

Do I need to be admitted to Florida Southern College to take a class?
No, all you need to do is submit the Non-Credit Registration form.

What if I have to miss a class?
Missing a class once in a while is okay. Everyone has busy schedules and conflicts sometimes arise. Because these are non-credit classes, you are not penalized for missing a class.  Our instructors are all very understanding and if you’ll let them know, they will do their best to keep you informed of any missed information. Please keep in mind, you will NOT be automatically dropped from the class if you miss the first class session. If you must drop a class, see the refund/drop policy described below.

What is the refund/drop policy?
If you are dropping a class, send your request via email to the Evening Program office no later than 48 hours prior to the first class session. A full refund will be issued if dropped prior to this deadline. No refunds will be provided after this drop date. Non-attendance does not relieve you of your obligation to pay. If you register for a class and do not attend or stop attending classes and fail to drop the class during the refund period, you will be responsible for class tuition and fees.

Will I receive a bill?
Payment is due at the time you register. FSC does not bill for enrollments. Confirmation of enrollment is assumed once you register, you will not be sent a written class confirmation.

Is there a discount for seniors, current FSC students and FSC alumni?
No discounts are currently provided, but discounts are provided for early group registrations of 6 or more students.

What is the enrollment policy for FSC faculty, staff and spouses?
Once the minimum number of class enrollments are met and provided there is still room in the class, FSC Faculty and Staff are enrolled for free. This is on a first come, first served basis. Spouses of FSC faculty and staff are enrolled at 50% of the listed course price. Please send your request via email and include the course name and course number.

Where do I purchase books?
Instructional materials are listed on the website near the course description.  Books and materials are not included in the course fees.

How often do classes meet?
Classes meet once a week and take place at various times and days. The first session for Spring 2011 is six weeks long, the second session is four weeks long (one of these meets for only two weeks) .

What is the parking policy?
Parking permits are not required for students enrolled in community courses. Please do not park in areas labeled "Faculty."

Can I get a discount for group enrollments?
