The Nina B. Hollis Wellness Center provides health and wellness opportunities to all students, faculty and staff. Alumni memberships are available.
Whether your goal is weight management, strength-training, education, or general conditioning, our programs are designed to provide you with safe and supportive environment.
Before using the facilities, we encourage members to schedule a fitness assessment, as well as a complete orientation of the facility’s equipment. A customized fitness program is developed for each member by a personal trainer.

The cost for an individual membership is $150.00 annually; $250.00 for a family membership (up to four persons in family at the same address); and $25.00 per additional family member. The FSC outdoor recreation program offers students a variety of fun outdoor activities, such as bicycling, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing, rock climbing, and camping.

The main lobby of the Wellness Center, named in recognition of the valued devotion to and support of FSC by Dorotha C. Tanner, provides weight-training machines and a large-screen TV.

The HWC Gymnasium provides full-size basketball and volleyball courts, which are used for both pick-up games and intramural teams.
Our eight-lane, 25-yard competition pool with an attached recreational shallow end features water basketball and equipment for water volleyball and water polo. The pool is open year-round, and is heated for winter use. | See Aquatics »

College courts are maintained by the Department of Athletics. However, the following equipment is available for checkout through the Physical Education department: tennis racquets and balls, racquetball racquets and balls, softballs, gloves and bats, soccer balls, footballs, and bocci balls. The equipment room is open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Thursday and is located behind the Field House, near the soccer fields. Please call 863.863.680.4263 for more information.
The DuBose Conference Room is a great meeting room for your department or organization meetings. Seats up to 14 comfortably. Bring your own audio visual equipment and other meeting needs.
You are responsible for ending your meeting in a timely fashion; remember, someone else may be waiting to begin their meeting. For your convenience, there is a weekly schedule of events posted in the room. If you rearrange the room, please reset it before leaving.
The main building also offers locker rooms, showers, and handicap-accessible restrooms. There is a baby-changing station in the women's restroom.

The Wellness Center’s equipment checkout program allows students to plan their own outdoor recreation adventures while staying on budget!
Equipment will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Bring your valid FSC ID to check out equipment at the wellness center front desk. To return camping gear, a second appointment will be made at the time of checkout to allow time to set up equipment for return inspection.
Additional sporting equipment, such as tennis racquets and balls, racquetball racquets and balls, softballs, gloves and bats, soccer balls, footballs, and bocci balls are available for checkout through the Physical Education department.
Although these services are free to students, charges will apply if equipment is damaged or lost.
Please call or stop by to be sure equipment is available and to arrange a time to discuss the safe use and care of the equipment.
